Carers Lewisham has been providing support and services to Carers in Lewisham for 30 years.
Following a recent review of our business plan and a restructure of both our team and our services, we are now seeking an inspirational leader to take the plans forward to the next stage.
This is an exciting challenge with many opportunities and although you’ll be supported by a passionate and enthusiastic Board of Trustees, a small but experienced staff team and a committed community of Carers, this is a new dawn for the organisation and as such you’ll need to be suitably driven, tenacious, resilient and prepared to roll your sleeves up.
You will have a background in charity management (ideally within health or social care) and, importantly, have some experience of funding and fundraising. Ideally, but not essentially, you will also understand the issues and challenges faced by Carers and have a strong network of contacts within Lewisham.
Hours: 3 days (21 hours) per week
Holiday: 26 days per annum including bank holidays.
Salary: £38,000 (pro rata)
Pension: 5% employer contribution (3% Employee Contribution) – (Under review)
Reporting to: Board of Trustees
