Peer support coffee mornings

Everyone is welcome at our coffee mornings. It’s a great opportunity to meet other carers, share challenges and solutions, and enjoy some time for yourself in a social environment. Over a cup of tea or mug of coffee and a biscuit, you will hear from other carers about their experiences, gardening tips, what’s going on in Lewisham and everything in between.

The sessions are free to attend and you are welcome to come to as many, or as few, as you like. No need to book, just show up on the day.

Our sessions currently run on the following days and times:

Tuesdays 10.30am-12.30pm

Carers’ Hub, Waldram Place

These are every Tuesday and everyone is welcome!

Tuesdays 1-3pm

Waldron Health Centre, Stanley Street, Deptford

These are on the 3rd Tuesday of every month and everyone is welcome!

Wednesdays 11.30am-2pm

South Lewisham Group Practice, 50 Conisborough Crescent

These are every Wednesday and everyone is welcome.

Wednesdays 2-4pm

Rushey Green Group Practice, Hawstead Road, Catford

These are every Wednesday and everyone is welcome.

Thursdays 10.30-12.30

Carers’ Hub, Waldram Place

These mornings are for specifically for male carers. No need to book, but call 020 8699 8686 or email Paul@CarersLewisham.org.uk if you’d like more information.

Bereavement peer support

In partnership with St Christopher’s, we run weekly sessions providing practical, emotional and peer support for carers who are coping with grief.

We welcome carers from every culture, race and background. All you need to do is complete our Contact Form. and email it to us at info@carerslewisham.org.uk .

One of our Information and Support Officers will call you to let you know that we have registered you and find out how we can best support you. As soon as you are registered you can start to access our services. We also accept referrals for carers from professionals and family members.
